Thank you for using Mawidak. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access and use of our website ("Site"), mobile application ("Application"), and related booking services (collectively, the "Services"), provided by Mawidak ("we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Services immediately.

1. Nature of the Services

1.1 Overview

Mawidak provides a digital platform that allows consumers ("Users") to search, book, and pay for beauty and wellness services such as hairdressing, spa treatments, massage, nail care, and related services. The providers listed on the Platform are independent businesses or professionals ("Service Providers").

1.2 Role of Mawidak

Mawidak acts as an intermediary only.

  • Services are provided solely by the Service Providers, who remain fully responsible for service quality, compliance with law, and customer satisfaction.
  • Mawidak does not endorse or guarantee any Provider, nor are we responsible for availability, cancellations, or outcomes of services.

2. Privacy and Security

2.1 Your personal data will be collected and processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Egypt's Personal Data Protection Law.

2.2 By using our Services, you agree not to:

  • Misuse or attempt to hack the Platform.
  • Share false or misleading information.
  • Interfere with other Users' data, accounts, or bookings.
  • Use the Platform for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose.

3. Payments

3.1 Payment Methods

You may pay:

  • Online through our Platform (credit/debit cards, mobile wallets, or other available gateways), or
  • Directly at the Service Provider's location (if supported).

3.2 Refunds

Refunds are only issued in cases where:

  • The Service Provider cancels or does not show up.
  • You cancel in accordance with the stated cancellation policy (see Section 4).

Refunds will be processed to your original payment method within a reasonable time.

Mawidak reserves the right to issue credits or alternative refunds at its discretion.

4. Cancellations and No-Shows

Users must cancel bookings within the time specified in their Booking Confirmation (typically at least 24 hours before the appointment).

If you cancel late or fail to attend, the Service Provider may charge you up to the full cost of the service.

If a Service Provider cancels, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule.

5. User Accounts

To access certain Services, you must create a User Account.

You must provide accurate and up-to-date information.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

Users under 18 years old may not register or book services without parental/guardian consent.

6. Content and Reviews

Users may post ratings, reviews, or feedback about Service Providers.

Reviews reflect individual opinions and do not represent Mawidak's views.

Mawidak may remove reviews that are offensive, unlawful, or misleading.

7. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the Services to:

  • Engage in fraud or illegal activity.
  • Harass, abuse, or discriminate against Service Providers or other Users.
  • Upload viruses, spam, or harmful code.
  • Copy or misuse Mawidak's intellectual property.

8. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

Mawidak provides the Platform "as is" and does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free use.

Mawidak is not responsible for the quality, safety, or outcome of services provided by Service Providers.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mawidak is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services.

9. Amendments

Mawidak reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on the Site and/or Application, and continued use of the Services means you accept the changes.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Cairo, Egypt.
